Schloss Herrenhausen

Since a bomb attack in 1943 an architectural gap yawned in the mansions gardens. The Hanoverians had lost their magnificent castle Herrenhausen. Nevertheless, in 2007 the Volkswagen foundation with its subsidiary IVA KG resolved to bring the historical location again to life. Now you can book the event rooms as a special location for exclusive events.

In the side wing of the castle there an interesting museum has been accommodated with exhibition pieces of the baroque epoch, the history of the mansions gardens and a Leibniz exhibition. In the middle part of the historical location there lie the event rooms. The semi-circular lecture hall with room for up to 272 people forms the heart piece. Of course you may expect excellent acoustics and the most modern event technology. Two patios provide for a wonderful look at the affectionately restored castle facade.

The situation in the midst of the mansions gardens is another advantage of this amazing special location. Your guests will simply love this unique ambience!
