Paddle steamer "Diesbar" for events on the river Elbe

Spend unforgettable events on the water and experience a whole new perspective on Saxony's capital from there! For this purpose, the Sächsische Dampfschifffahrt provides you with nine different paddle steamers and two salon ships.

A technical monument as event location

Powered by the world's oldest twin steam engine still in use today, most of which has been preserved in its original form, the steamship "Diesbar" cruises the Elbe. Through the large cutouts on the deck, passengers can even watch the steam engines during the trip!

Look forward to two cozy and at the same time stylish saloons and enjoy your trip in this nostalgic ambience. Inside, 34 seats are available in the foredeck saloon, and another 52 can be found in the aft deck saloon. In addition, there are 24 covered and 18 uncovered outdoor seats on the front deck. The rear deck awaits you with 80 covered seats.

In addition, the covered sundeck with bar and the wooden decks also function as a backdrop for movies or photos.
