Raddampfer "Diesbar"

Spend unforgettable events on the water and experience from there a whole new perspective on Saxony's state capital! For this, the Saxon Steamship Company provides you with different paddle steamer, two saloon ships and a small motor ship.

A technical monument as event venue

Driven by the world's oldest twin steam engine and mostly original, the steamship "Diesbar" travels the Elbe. Through the large cutouts on the deck, passengers can even watch the steam engines while driving!

At almost 54 meters, the vehicle built in 1884 and since then restored several times with great attention to detail, convinces with a special flair and the best conditions for implementing your individual events. Look forward to two cozy and at the same time stylish salons and enjoy in this nostalgic ambience, for example, your birthday. In addition, the covered sundeck with tap and the wooden decks also act as a backdrop for films or photos.

Your wedding on the water

Of course "Diesbar" offers an equally unique setting for the most beautiful day of your life! Celebrate on board with your guests a glittering party and admire absolute rarities with the historic steam engine, the steam whistle or a hand-tilting chimney. In addition, the steamer is the only one of the fleet with coal fueled.

Inside there are 34 seats in the front deck salon, another 52 can be found in the Hinterdecksalon. In addition, there are 24 covered and 18 uncovered outdoor areas on the front deck. The back deck awaits you with 80 covered seats.

The subsidiary ElbeZeit Catering ensures perfect care with variable decoration and food according to personal preference. From entertainment to equipment, every wish is fulfilled professionally and reliably.
