Abraham Bau - Haus für Musiker

Your event at the "Haus für Musiker"

Between 2006 and 2017, the Abraham Bau "Haus für Musiker" was built on the Hombroich rocket station for the Hombroich Foundation. This makes it one of the few actually realised buildings of the Austrian architect Raimund Abraham (1933 - 2010). As such, it plays a special role, especially since it was his last project and summarized relevant topics for him.

The building has been built in situ concrete and consists of four levels. The rooms are very different and operate independently. The layout is circular and the building appears hermetically from the outside, but a refined construction can be seen in the interior. The individual rooms have large glazing and are grouped in the form of a triangle around the inner courtyard. In various ways, stairs and ramps connect the levels to each other.

Meetings of a special kind

The possibilities of use are varied, so you can work concentrated in small groups on the one hand, but the surroundings also provide an expressive background for events in the courtyard as well as for larger events in the underground theater. Two seminar rooms welcome you in the course of a business event on the ground floor, as well as the three-storey library. On the upper floor you will find the loggia with open kitchen for meetings or workshops. The theater on the ground floor is suitable for meetings of up to 200 people and is also used for presentations. On site there are also various service rooms that can be used.
