UNESCO-Welterbe Zollverein Location with fascinating industrial architecture for events in Essen

UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein - Award-winning event location in Essen

The ambience at the former Zollverein coal mine and coking plant is unique: Various rooms for company or family celebrations, for business or private events are presented on an area of 100 hectares.

The former electrical workshop, Hall 6, is also centrally located in the courtyard of honor of the Zollverein Coal Mine Shaft XII and offers space for 100 guests on just under 200 m². It is ideally suited for smaller meetings or for workshops and impresses with a gallery with spiral staircase, which can be used for presentations or as a lounge area.

As an unusual venue for up to 150 people, the former circular thickener in the coal washing plant is impressive. The largest above-ground building was once a huge machine, which houses the former round thickener at a height of 30 meters. Converted into a modern lecture hall, it impresses not only with its excellent room acoustics.

With the former boiler house (Hall 7), another architectural highlight of the Zollverein is available for business events. The modern and light-flooded conference room is centrally located on Shaft XII and conveniently has a floor-to-ceiling access to the outdoor area. The 190 m² area can be flexibly equipped for the planned event format and can be ideally used for your conferences, meetings and workshops with the latest technology.
