In the heart of the Hanseatic city, the Haus der Patriotischen Gesellschaft welcomes you to a very special setting for events of all kinds. The historic building from the 19th century was extensively renovated, combining a turbulent past with modern elements of the present.

Digital and hybrid events

The SAALHAUS team has also arrived in the new world of live streams, video conferences and hybrid events and has expanded its services in this area together with its professional technology partner for the Haus der Patriotischen Gesellschaft.

The spaces 

On two floors you have five gorgeous event rooms available. Make your celebrations, meetings, conferences or meetings and workshops an unforgettable experience! On the upper floor, the Reimarus Hall on 242 m² presents the jewel of the house. In it was once passed the democratic constitution of the Free State of Hamburg. With a height of 7.50 meters and floor-to-ceiling windows, this ballroom has a unique atmosphere. Up to 300 people can be accommodated here.

In order to expand the capacities, there is also a connection to the next Sonnin Hall. This 70 m² large room is ideal for the breakfasts, as an accompanying workshop room etc. Through the large window front of the 95 m² cemetery hall you can enjoy the view of Nikolai Fleet and Speicherstadt. Connect it to the Upper Foyer!

Very quiet is the Tonnies room. On 30 m² it has room for up to 28 persons and thus provides an ideal secondary space for your event. The Bülau room, one floor below, is also suitable for smaller groups with its 27 m². Not least thanks to the neo-Gothic pointed arches it exudes elegant charm. Directly adjacent is the Lower Foyer; It is also very bright and generous.

Of course, within the house is a modern technical equipment ready and the decoration is done individually according to your ideas. For the culinary well-being is also taken care of, you decide depending on the occasion between Hamburger Franzbrötchen, a break catering, buffets, finger food or the professional dinner! Matching drinks and good German wines complete the meal.
