State-of-the-art event technology

Together with technology partner Nordlite, Schuppen 52 recently underwent a comprehensive modernization. The entire fixed lighting installation was renewed and the conventional lighting technology was replaced with modern, energy-saving LED technology.

The modernization offers various highlights: In addition to a significant 64% reduction in power consumption at full load, the new lighting system also enables the use of moving lights for the most part. In addition, all lamps across the entire 6,000 m² hall area can be individually adjusted according to color preferences. Thanks to the improved basic installation, less additional lighting equipment is now required.

In terms of lighting technology, a total of 138 Martin ERA 150 LED wash lights, 55 Prolights Solar 48Q LED floodlights and 110 Cameo STUDIO PAR 6 G2 control units were installed. They are controlled via 2 MA GrandMA3 8Port Node and 1 MA GrandMA3 onPC rack unit.

In addition, a completely new network and Internet infrastructure was installed. This includes a 1Gbit fiber optic connection synchronized with Telekom, new network connections at 14 positions with Cat7 cabling and a new WLAN system with Wi-Fi 6e. Seven Aruba AP-655-RW access points were used for the WLAN coverage. The network connection is made via 3 Cisco CB350 48NGP-4X switches, while the MikroTik CCR2116-12G-4S+ router is used.

It goes without saying that shed 52 also meets all technical requirements. You will find modern electricity, water and kitchen technology as well as state-of-the-art sanitary and heating technology. The event location also offers complete IT networking and WLAN, large doors and a floor that can be driven on by truck.
