Abtei Brauweiler for Events in Köln

The former Benedictine Abbey of Brauweiler in Pulheim was founded in 1024 and it is today one of the most important buildings in the whole Rhineland. Since 1983-85 it has been the seat of a number of LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland)cultural institutions, after various types of use and restoration. But on site you can not only enjoy wonderful concerts, readings or exhibitions; the function rooms are also an ideal venue for your individual event! Whether a private occasion like a wedding or other celebration, a photo shooting or for professional business events like conferences, seminars and product presentations - there is always a suitable backdrop! 

Up to 300 people can be accommodated in the ten differently sized event rooms. The most representative is surely the Kaisersaal with its wall decoration but also in the 208 m² comprehensive Gierden Saal offers you a sophisticated setting with a moody ambience. The Ezzo- and Mathilden-Saal are suitable for larger and smaller groups thanks to their equipment, and the conference room offers 35 m² for undisturbed meetings. Admire at presentations with up to 40 participants the modern Richeza Hall or opt for the Nikolaus-Lauxen-Saal in connection with the Remise for your rushing celebrations. The Dr.-Alfons-Biermann-Klause, a vaulted cellar with a unique atmosphere and adjoining Wirtschaftsraum, is particularly outstanding. The eight-hectare park with its historical tree stands can also be included. 

In the course of your event, you can bring a catering in the form of a buffet, a rustic lunch or another variation. The technical equipment is functional with beamer including screen, laptop and WLAN.
