Abtei Brauweiler

Abtei Brauweiler for Weddings in Cologne

For the most beautiful day of your life, you can look forward to a place of the same kind - in Pulheim, the Abtei Brauweiler is one of the most important buildings in the Rhineland. Founded in 1024, it has been the seat of several LVR cultural institutions since 1983-85. But it also serves as a fantastic historical setting for various events.

Three function rooms offer space between 144 m² and 208 m² for the individual design of your celebration. While the impressive Gierden-Saal has the most room, the Nikolaus-Lauxen-Saal convinces on 144 m² with a Remise. The Dr.-Alfons-Biermann-Klause, a vaulted cellar with a unique atmosphere, can also be included in your event. You can enjoy a good champagne reception in the 50 m² Ezzo-Saal, the multifunctional Mathilden-Saal or in the Richeza-Saal. Wedding ceremonies take place once a month in the 85 m² comprehensive Äbtesaal and are carried out by the office of Pulheim. With the eight-hectare park, the venue also presents a magnificent outdoor area with a historical tree stand.

Of course, before, during and after your wedding, you benefit from an on-going service by reliable and friendly staff and the technical equipment is available on site. The culinary accompaniment is planned according to your ideas; for example, you can make tasty buffets or choose a different catering form.
