Bamberger Haus The top-class restaurant in Munich-Schwabing
Gastronomy at Bamberger Haus in Munich
In the heart of Schwabing, Munich, the Bamberger Haus welcomes you as a historic event venue. This listed villa, originally built in 1912, was destroyed during World War II, rebuilt in 1983, and extensively renovated in 2015. Beyond hosting private and corporate events in its stunning rooms, the Bamberger Haus also stands out for its exceptional gastronomy.
"Zum Ferdinand" – Austrian Specialties
The heart of the villa is undoubtedly the "Zum Ferdinand" restaurant, located on the ground floor. Spanning 95 m², it offers space for up to 100 guests in a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. Plush Prokat cushions invite you to relax, while a golden chandelier adds a touch of grandeur.
The menu features Alpine delicacies, ensuring a refined dining experience. According to guests, "the best schnitzel in town" is served here!
"Francesco Gewölbe" – Mediterranean Flair
The rustic vaulted cellar on the lower level welcomes up to 160 guests for Mediterranean delights and lively celebrations until dawn. Enjoy the impressive show kitchen and a cocktail bar that stretches across the entire dining area up to the dance mezzanine. Due to high demand, Francesco Gewölbe is currently available exclusively as an event location.
Culinary Delights in the Expansive Outdoor Area
Both restaurant areas feature spacious outdoor spaces. The Francesco Gewölbe opens directly onto a 750 m² garden, complete with an outdoor bar and playground. Meanwhile, the "Zum Ferdinand" terrace offers 120 m² of outdoor seating.
Additionally, the venue includes a 400 m² beer garden, featuring a covered and heated sun terrace. During summer, guests can enjoy a BBQ experience, while a wine and spritz hut adds to the charming atmosphere.
Winter Events with Ice Stock and Mulled Wine
In winter, ice stock lanes are set up, accompanied by a mulled wine hut and seasonal specialties. Ice stock games continue until late February, making it a popular choice for kick-off parties. Whether it's summer with chilled rosé wines, champagne, long drinks, iced tea, and finger food, or winter with freshly tapped Augustiner beer, this outdoor location creates a memorable setting for any occasion!
