Whether wedding, birthday or baptism: The event rooms of the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal are booked with pleasure for family celebrations. Above all as elegant wedding location, we are well-known in the whole Ruhr area! At ours you celebrate with your wedding party in the golden shine of the outgoing 19th century - without having to renounce modern comfort.

In arrangement with the registry office weddings can be carried out in our rooms from on Mondays to Saturdays between 9 am and 3 pm. Often the elegant Majolika Saal West is used for state-official weddings. If you expect a huge number of guests at your wedding, we make available to you with pleasure one of the big halls.

After the wedding ceremony, we expect your wedding party for a champagne reception or we serve coffee and cake. In nice weather this part of the wedding celebration can be carried out under the open sky on the terrace with view over the city. The catering of your guests is in the best of hands with the professionals of Culinaria Gastronomie. In the evening a rushing wedding party will take place in one of the splendidly decorated halls. According to number of persons, different rooms are for choice. A wedding celebration can be arranged in banquet seats with max. 520 guests. However, also for smaller groups we can offer the suitable event space to you.

If requested, our event team looks after the musical company for the happiest day of your life. Whether live band, string quartet or DJ: Everything can be realized! There are enough rooms ready for overnight stay of your wedding party at the neighboring four-star hotel or at one of our partner hotels.
