The event center within the Hotel Schloss Montabaur first opened its doors in April 2011. Located within the main buildings, the rooms provide a perfect backdrop for all manner of events.  Each of the rooms is further equipped with modern AV technology and your catering requirements are ably met by the Castle’s own team.

The modern architecture acts in stark contrast to the castle buildings.  Generous, large windows provide excellent views to the surroundings and a large terrace is also available.  The event center offers over 550 sqm of space set over two floors. Your guests can be received in the Foyer which is flooded with natural daylight before proceeding to their gala dinner in the main ball room.  For such dinners the room can accommodate up to 189 people.  The room can also be split by virtue of a sliding partition wall.

During its construction, special emphasis was placed on creating a highly energy efficient building.  All rooms are heated by geothermal energy and a thermal pump both heats and cools as required.  The glass dome also contains energy producing photo voltaic cells.

If you so wish we would be happy to suggest for you some exciting activities to accompany your event.  Take part in an obstacle course with your colleagues or test your concentration by learning archery. You can also take guided tours in hiking, canoeing or mountain biking, or what always proves popular is the building of rafts in teams.

The Hotel Schloss Montabaur is easily accessible by virtue of its imposing location and the excellent connections to the nearby A3 motorways and high speed train station.
