Events at the Kraftzentrale on the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord

The Kraftzentrale in the Duisburg Landscape Park was built at the beginning of the 20th century and was of enormous importance for the entire plant as well as the housing estate next door. With the production of electricity and blast furnace wind, it made itself indispensable for several building complexes. Later, as a spare parts warehouse, it was reopened in 1997 as an event location.

With only about half an hour's distance to Dusseldorf, it is also ideal for the realization of events, which are planned from there. Do not hesitate, but relocate your happening in this unique atmosphere! Whether concert, company gala or just a formal state reception - for large events of almost any kind, the power station is predestined.

Since they can also be driven by trucks via a roller shutter, presentations or exhibitions of larger objects are no problem. The interior, which can be divided into three separate areas for events with up to 4,200 people by means of two curtains, presents itself as flexibly usable. The roof construction can additionally be used as a carrier of suspended loads (for example rigging).

If required, the outdoor area offers a combination with the more than 6,000 m² of indoor space. With Kraftzentralenvorplatz and Cowperplatz there are two options, which can be used arbitrarily. The small railroad scales in front of the building is perfectly suited for ticketing, merchandising or any other purpose.

In addition, we have ancillary rooms for use as a cloakroom, artist area, for technology, paramedics or catering. The latter is not tied to our location, so you are free to choose. We provide you with WLAN and LAN connections and our infrastructure is of generous format. Directly on the site you will also find 1,500 parking spaces for the arrival by car.
