Design Offices describes its vision with the term "New Work", forward-looking working and living environments that promote creativity and contact. The same aspiration also drove the three architectural firms that created the "Macherei", a young, urban quarter for "makers" and culture lovers in the east of Munich. 

Locating the largest Design Offices site there, with 16,500 square meters of floor space, followed a kind of natural law, so to speak.
