MaHalla for events in Berlin Oberschönweide

The architectural jewel with 9,000 m² of event space and a ceiling height of 18 metres is still known to many locals as the former Electropolis showroom. It once served AEG as an exhibition space for large turbines and also inspired Fritz Lang for his famous film "Metropolis".

Since 2021, the Mahalla team has carefully brought the imposing industrial location in the up-and-coming Wilhelminenhofstraße in Oberschönweide back to life with up to 15 usable event rooms on different floors. In total, the location offers enough space for events with 10 to 2,000 people.

The event space in MaHalla

The large GROSSE HALLE has an area of 3,600 m² with a ceiling height of 12 metres, under which presentations or incentives are enveloped in a unique atmosphere amidst columns of Parisian steel. Its glazed roof creates a magical play of light, while the beams and columns form an imposing backdrop. 

The Forum, which is connected to the main hall, offers the best conditions for film and photo shoots or streaming events thanks to the light. . A long, open space that can be used for event formats as well as for the accreditation and cloakroom area. In the evening, conferences, private events or graduation balls with 400 people are also ideally placed here.

The SCHWARZE HALLE with its fabulous ceiling height of 18 metres is a cathedral of creativity and ideal for atmospheric events. The elegant conservatory is one of the most charming rooms in the MaHalla. Weddings, creative meetings or Christmas parties with up to 100 guests are given a stylish setting here.
