Deutsches Technikmuseum

The Deutsche Technikmuseum Berlin is one of the most attractive special locations of the federal capital. All event rooms of the museum are absolutely individual and offer a magnificent setting for unforgettable events. Whether reception, conference or festive banquet: For any occasion the suitable framework will be found. On Mondays the museum closes for the foot traffic and the event rooms can be used all-day.
At the realization and planning of events the host will benefit from the big support of the experienced team of the venue.

On the ground floor of the new building a "Kaffenkahn" is exposed, found near Spandau. With a length of 33 m and a height of 20 m it is the biggest exhibit of the museum. The Kaffenkahn serves as a space for events with up to 100 people in dinner seats. The event surface is a part of the exhibition "social environment of the ship".

The aviation exhibition opened in 2005 and there are legendary airplanes like the "Tante Ju" and the Arado 79 to be marvelled at. Receptions and banquets in the midst of the exhibits will be long kept in memory by the guests. Also the adjoining terrace can be used where a "Rosinenbomber" is hoovering. In this area of the special location events with approx. 100 people can be carried out.

On the third floor of the location there is the communication space. It does not belong to the part of the museum with access for the public and therefore, it can always be booked all-day. From this event space as well as from the neighboring terrace the visitors have a great look at the museum area. The space is furnished and equipped with a digital projector. A sound system can also be used. Banquet seats are available for maximum 84 people.

High above the roofs of the museum the ring-shaped event space can be used flexibly. Due to the pure shape of scenery constructions the event surface has a wide range of application. All around the space there is a terrace to be found allowing a fantastic look over the city.

The event space is merely separated by glass surfaces and a stair from the aviation exhibition. Here receptions can be carried out for up to 500 people. The exclusive guided tour through the museum is a special experience, when all the other visitors have already left. Private tours are organized for groups of up to 25 people. The event rooms offer a very private ambience in a former warehouse of the Nürnberger Tucher Bräu AG. On four levels the guests can see the history of the beer brewing very closely. On the fourth upper floor up to twelve people can take a seat at an earthy brewery table feasting with look at the broth house. A banquet table for up to 20 people can be set up on the ground floor. The adjoining outside terrace is also available.

How about a meeting of the special kind? In the historical dining compartment there is room for up to 22 people. And a dinner on the engine shed stage can be realized for up to ten people.

The employees of the Deutsche Technikmuseum Berlin provide with pleasure an individual offer for your event at this wonderful special location.
